The “Colors of Rajasthan Tour Package” is a 12-day journey of Rajasthan.

Amber Fort

On way to the fort you can see two chhatris or memorials of Jaimal and Kalla marking the spots where they fell while defending the fort during the siege of 1568. Haldi Ghati
The mountain pass is a significant historical location. Rakt Talai in Khamnore is the site of the Battle of Haldighati, which took place in 18th June 1576 between of the Kingdom of Mewar and the Mughal Army led by Kunwar Man Singh. Maharana Pratap led the armed forces of Mewar against the Mughals who fought under the command of Mughal emperor Akbar’s general Maan Singh of Amber.
Maharana Pratap’s horse Chetak played a pivotal role in the Battle of Haldighati. Chetak was fatally wounded in this battle and died on 18 June 1576. Maharana Pratap erected a small monument for his horse at the place where Chetak fell down. The cenotaph still exists at Haldighati. Continue to drive Mount Abu check-in your room. Once a home to rich Paliwal Brahmins, the “haunted” village was abandoned by its inhabitants because of atrocities committed by a powerful minister of Jaisalmer, Salim Singh.
War Museum
It was dedicated to the Nation by Lieutenant General Ashok Singh, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Command, Indian Army, on 24 August 2015. The Museum displays war exhibits which include vehicles and equipment captured during the course of operations in 1965 and 1971.
The Jaisalmer War Museum, popularly known as JWM, has an Honour Wall engraved with the names of the Param Vir Chakra and Maha Vir Chakra gallantry award winners, two large Information Display Halls – Indian Army Hall and Laungewala Hall, an Audio Visual Room, a souvenir shop and a cafeteria. A Hunter Aircraft of the Indian Air Force, which destroyed enemy tank columns during the Battle of Laungewala is also displayed.
